Pokemon Legends

Pokemon Legends is a game I like to play. I'm so far in I just can't leave the game alone. Except for in class 'cos I don't want it blocked. I just have to trust my friends not to go on it to though. My math game 2018

Last term we learnt about place value. We got to make a game about our learning. Here's mine:

Harold

Harold 

yesterday at Harold we learned about healthy foods and how the digestive system works. Carmen also showed us an x-ray and a little cartoon about being healthy and what food is good to eat. We did an activity were she gave us cards with facts on them and we had to decide whether it was true or false most of them were right but I got it wrong. My fact was: chips are made from potatoes so they still count as vegetables. I put it in true but it is false. What kind of food do you eat is it healthy?

Rapaki Marae

Camp at Rapaki Marae

Last week we went on camp at Rapaki Marae in Lyttleton.

When we got there we did a Powhiri. After that we got a mattresses each and then got our things then put them by our mattresses. Our backpacks had to say out in the room next to the wharekai because they had food in them.Then we went to the wharekai for dinner we had nachos. We also went swimming at the beach just down the track from the wharenui.  I played Mancala, I won a couple of times and then did some puzzles.

Welcome back to term 2 this term we have a new teacher. Her name is Miss Reissmann and she is replacing Mrs Panther because she is having a baby.  In the holidays I went to Christchurch for a week to stay with my cousin.

Top Team Games

The Top Team Games

Last week we did top team games and I didn't do it because I forgot my stuff and some games had water group 3 won.

there was a game where there where big bags and your whole group wold get it and the other team did the same and we had a jumping bag race. And there was another game where we had to stack blocks as high as we can without it falling and whoever had the tallest when time was up they won.

For numeracy this week I've been doing maths buddy and it is a website were you can do maths and math games.

I like maths buddy because it is fun and it has tasks you can redo if you don't pass it. 

I found the 2 digits hard because i'm not that good at maths.

I found this fun and I made a snake. My favourite creation is  the jelly fish here is an image.

I hope we do this again some time I might do a spider instead of a snake.
